Another lovely podcast by Jill Cloutier (if you haven’t checked out Sustainable World Radio, do that as well!). This podcast offers a great way to learn more about plants. A mini escape into the plant world, even when on a crowded subway train. 💚

All about the use of plants for people, and not about the plants themselves, no concern for the environmental impact of invasive plants. Mulberry episode prime example. Do better research, don’t advocate for invasive plants.

Great to find this series of podcasts. I am a qualified ethnobotanist in the U.K. One thing I felt was missing from the hawthorn episode is the cyanid content in the seed of Hawthorn.. For a podcast called "The Plant Report" the content is pretty human. I was hoping to hear stories about botany but all I got was boring folklore and a human-centered view of the plant world.
