“Matt Forde allows his guests to talk and go in depth about their careers. I suppose the podcast format allows many of his guests to really open up and provide revealing insights into politics. He gets people on from all ends of the political spectrum and ultimately it seems that Matt's goal (typified by his recurrent question "do you have any friends in other parties?") is to show to people that politicians are people, not "the other", and that people on opposing ends of the political spectrum can still respect each other and get on. This aside, it's also just very entertaining and informative and provides insights into politicians you might love or hate and gets you too see behind the mask.
