Every time we don't boldly advocate for reinstating the Fairness Doctrine, we "obey in advance" all the gangster capitalist machinations that put a price on truth and profit from lies. We should applaud and support these truthsayers, but until enough of us agree to make truth the law and only viable business model, and prosecute those who profit from lying to the public as "news," there's no real hope. Same with guns - we "obey in advance" every time we don't call out the right's absurd, liar's interpretation of the 2nd Amendment and pull that out by the root. Same with climate - we "obey in advance" every day that we don't charge oil companies for their fraud and omnicide. All the little people doing the daily work still needs to happen, but it will never be enough without acquiring political power and then enforcing the laws and prosecuting the liars and gangsters.
