Learn n Laugh - what a time to be alive
The boys and their excellent guests take you on an intellectual journey via the vehicle of humour. Guaranteed to learn and laugh... If only all teachers could be so skilled in the art of puns I might have stayed in school; I've always struggled to absorbe knowledge but something about the visceral component of humour allows the information to soak deep into my psyche... I recently took part in quiz and one of the questions was "who is regarded as the first atomist?" - I was the only one who could state 'Democritus (460BC) disputed conventional wisdom with his view that the world consisted of individual particles' - I ended up winning the quiz based on this answer... I'm now inspired to use humour as a memory aid and might even take up classes again. This could be you after you listen to the intellectual synergy that characterises the transmissions of the Pop Test... Furthermore, this podcast has helped me appreciate the age we live in, such a rich intellectual history to reflect on, such a vast pool of information to play with, and the minds at the Pop Test manage to convert this otherwise dry information into the sweet sweet nectar of humour... Do yourself a favour and tune in.Read full review »

This podcast is really good and also fun. The best part is Andy and Al can finally afford to feed their families.

Great for the car trip. Scientists as funny as the comics.
