The cure for boredom
It was a dark, rainy winter evening and I was sitting in my room, bored to death. I’d grown tired of the same depressing news and finance podcasts and needed something to stimulate my sleeping brain cells. After several long minutes of searching through available podcasts, I came across one that intrigued me: The Pottervision Podcast. Feeling drawn to it by some strange, supernatural force, I took a chance on it and played the first episode. Then another. Then another. I couldn’t believe my ears. Hagrid’s pumpkins, little miss naughty knickers and a man saying “yeh yeh” repeatedly; this podcast had everything I was looking for. It was the answer to my boredom. Nearly 150 episodes later and I’ve learnt more about the Harry Potter books and Tom’s damp problem than I ever thought I wanted to! I can give it no fewer than five men writing a review that is far too long out of five! A masterpiece.
