Description
I have quit being surprised by clients letting me know that they suffer with self-harm via cutting themself. It’s an epidemic, but I wonder if you knew that cutting was actually mentioned in the Bible. Did you know that?
It’s actually mentioned in several of the gospels and (to me) it’s super fun to examine all the nuances between them. But the central theme is, there was a dude that was roaming around a grave site (tombs) and he was full of demons and cutting himself.
Struggling with self-harm means the villain of the story is you. You may have even felt whispers of voices in the spirit realm telling you to cut yourself to relieve the pain.
The struggle leaves you feeling dirty, impure, unwanted, and invaluable. You feel like the pain on the inside must be physically felt or it may not be real.
It's just plain wrong to to feel dirty. What happened to you wasn't right! It was an injustice!
I get that you don't want to be upset with those people who hurt you. They were probably very special people to you and you don't want any harm to come to them.
Those memories don't have to haunt you though. You don't have to get anyone in trouble or even confess if you don't feel led to. But if you want to feel better, you can!
Self harm began with an injustice you suffered. And now, it's rooted in shame and unforgiveness and can be eradicated easily with the Healing from Injustices course. https://heatherobrien.thrivecart.com/wounded-to-warrior-bootcamp/
