Puts me to sleep, but in a good way!
Anyone with even a passing interest in Tolkien or fantasy literature would enjoy this podcast. Alan and Shawn both provide insightful in-depth analysis, and their tremendous admiration of Professor Tolkien's work is downright infectious. They are also funny and easy to listen to, and it is the wonderfully relaxing listening environment they've created that I truly love. My job is stressful and I will lie awake at night worrying about it unless I can distract myself somehow. This podcast helps keep me sane by giving my mind something comfortable to focus on, and at this point it's as indispensable to me as my pillow. This is, perhaps, a strange review to leave, but I thought that I might as well share my experience, and let Alan and Shawn know that they've improved the quality of life of at least one listener.Read full review »
