Episode 48 and Pappy Gunns B25s in PNG
Was stoked to hear this episode, great to hear AirPower in these podcasts. I was fortunate to be involved in the re-identification of relics at the PNG museum of modern history in Port Moresby ( before it moved to the new location). They had lost all records during a theft and needed assistance to identify the relics lying around. During this process and utilizing references material from Charles Darby’s book Pacific Aircraft Wrecks I was able to identify the stacked 50cal guns from one of the first B25 gunships. Keep up the good work, as an ex soldier and now airman, this podcast is an invaluable source of lessons to be learnt in military history...

More reviews of The Principles of War
This podcast does an excellent job of explaining the principles of war by providing real-world examples from history. The series on the Malaya/Singapore campaign from WW2 was great and I would love to see more series on other historical battles.

Fascinating, knowledgeable and informative. Using historical data to inform our future strategy / planning needs to be mandatory. Yet somehow we learn but don’t enact. Politics no doubt plays a bigger part in all that though Superb series. I often replay episodes to glean everything I can
