Brett & Alice put out a truly amazing podcast! They present the facts thoroughly, giving a wonderful legal perspective, all while staying unbiased (but I do love when they share their personal opinions!). The care they display for the people involved in their topics is palpable, always...Read full review »

Obsessed with you guys and the podcast I’ve listed to every episode. Q: what are both of your favorite true crime (or other) books/podcasts? Always looking for suggestions. I recommend you guys to everyone! Can’t wait to see what’s next. PS appreciate how much Alice enjoyed Kansas City 🫶

I really hope next time you guys talk to Bob motta you go At him good. He would lie on his page for the defense. There’s no way he believes what he says. But he wanted that superchat money and add revenue.

I secretly put that subject to get your attention. No but Brett’s accent makes me nostalgic for my college years because I went to school in the South. Ergo, this is the best podcast. Five stars. Obviously. Question! I want to hear about the crack house Alice lived in. Also Brett, what is the...Read full review »

FYI, bunting is small ball. That is baseball at its finest. The infield needs to know how to play the game too, not just hit fly balls out to the fielders or home runs…🙌❤️

These guys are like the myth busters of true crime. I listen to very little true crime anymore because of all the trashy content. Too many ridiculous conspiracies and wild speculation. The prosecutors just give you the facts, no nonsense and they’re not going to lie to you for clicks and views....Read full review »

Updating my review (still 5 stars as always)!! You guys continue to be 2 of the most down to earth, level headed, properly functioning people in all the land. I guess when you’re a hammer, everything you see is a nail. These guys used to be interesting to listen to, so perhaps go back to the early episodes. But it gets boring pretty quickly to keep hearing prosecution right, defence wrong, over and over again.
carmel_m via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 11/09/24
Their whole premise is that they are experienced prosecutors who are bringing their unique insight and expertise to a case discussion. Just look up the male host and read about his “experience” and his professional standing in the judicial community. Only realised just how little experience and...Read full review »

This podcast is garbage. These people are horrible gaslighting fools that exploit these stories and fill the narratives with lies to get ad dollars. Don’t bother.

I don’t write reviews at all, but wanted to do this one. I have been listening for a couple months and decided to go back to the beginning. Alice only had 2 children, Brett’s little boy was born in the second year. I love you guys, I love to hear you guys laugh!!! Keep up the hard work.

VERY COMPREHENSIVE Coverage of this case. I’m only on episode 3 but have been dying to hear all about how this all unfolded with so many players involved. I discovered this podcast a few months ago and have been listening like crazy. I love Brett and Alice, love the way they go through cases, their theories and how they bring in all their lawyer expertise. So interesting and they’re funny too. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been listening since beginning and really liked. Unfortunately they’ve become so bias with their personal opinions. Karen Read could have been done well in 2-3 episodes but rambling same dialog over and over made it uncomfortable to listen to. Sadly unsubscribing.

Menendez, DA said he’s doing this because not the same people, that they bettered themselves when they didn’t have to, but I’m sure that’s true about a lot of prisoners not as popular, If they get out will this set precedent? Would other lawyers have arguments? How do you and Alice feel about?...Read full review »

These two are Trump loyalists. Talley is vocally anti-abortion and pro gun and urged people to join the NRA after Sandy Hook. Enough said.

I’ll start by saying I work in public defense so I am likely not your average listener. The podcast is worth a listen, but it is not even close to unbiased. 75% of the show is now them joshing around, Brett bein’ a darlin’ good ol’ boy, and Alice rambling on and repeating herself.

Did frank have Ray killed? Did Frank use Ray as a scapegoat which lead to a disgruntled client killing him? Was the murderer part of the dark arena who was angry at the company and the blame was placed on Ray instead of the real culprit? Ray wasn’t giving financial advice so why was he murdered?
