Improving over time
I almost gave up on this podcast very early because, as other reviews mention, the host's pronunciation errors and overall weak diction made me doubt her credibility as a public speaking expert. Since then I've noticed improvements in her speaking style, and I enjoy her enthusiasm for her subject. As other reviews have noted, the podcast is about communication skills in general, not solely about giving speeches (though she has dealt with a variety of issues related to speechmaking). The episodes are concise and well-organized, and usually present a small number of specific, practical suggestions.Read full review »
