“Purple Stuff just keeps getting better and better. The regular episodes where you get to hear each of Matt and Jay's picks for a certain retro nostalgia topic are great. There are no easy targets for their selections, instead each one is a deep cut that takes you back to something you thought you were the only one who remembered or they turn you onto something entirely new. The hosts are close friends and you feel like you're part of the gang. Lately, they've been doing mini-episodes that don't follow any pattern, but are arguably better than the regular list episodes and are great for a quick pick-me-up. If I had to provide any critique it is that there's no regular schedule to when they release, but I always get excited when I see one show up in my feed.
