There was a need for thoughtful, fun conversations on dad culture that doesn’t go into the more red-pilled aspects, and this has been it.

Great fun, enjoyable listen, a break from more serious subjects, and just cool dad talk.

This podcast is not really about discovering new information or learning for me. It’s more that I’m just reveling in the shared joys and passions of others. This must also be a dad feature.

Dads my age casually discussing the greatest naval warfare book series ever written? Yeah, this is my jam. I’m here for this.

Another excellent podcast from Patrick Wyman. Patrick is an intelligent and well spoken person. These conversations with interesting guests are funny and thought provoking.

Refreshing deep dives on all kinds of great topics. Very interesting how he brings it back to the (very broad) sphere of fatherhood. Subscribed!

Wyman is a great host with excellent guests. Every guest has brought something new. Could you get Jamelle Bouie on to talk Hunt for Red October?

You can hear Patrick improving as an interviewer over the course of that series. This show is an...Read full review »

What is a Dad? Basically someone with strong opinions on niche subjects that matter only to other Dads. Home workouts? Check! Best buddies on the HMS Surprise? Double check! Everything about this podcast calls to me, a fellow Dad. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Ten on ten.

If you are a dad, or dad adjacent, this is the podcast for you! It’s not about kids per say, but the things you get to do when being a dad. Niche sports knowledge, historical fiction, calling people ‘champ’ all that good stuff.

Just listened to the first episode and found it incredibly entertaining. Patrick appears to have created another great podcast. Give it a listen!!

This is a great podcast from one of the best podcasters out there. Patrick has always been a great interviewer on his history podcasts and I look forward to that continuing on this one.
