A taster for the book
This is a fascinating tale, well researched and well told. The case was researched first for an article, then for a book and then, finally, for this podcast so it’s not the deepest of dives but it still holds its own as a podcast series. Ten fresh interviews were recorded for the podcast so there’s no lack of original content but what you miss is the sense of a reporter discovering/investigating the story through making the podcast - it’s already been done for the book and this is a retelling of that process. It’s still well worth a listen and I may well now move on to the book, which is the point I guess!
