Repetitive but interesting
I was really excited after listening to the first episode, but from there on it got a bit unorganized and didn’t really get in the life of Linda Taylor. It just felt like he repeated the same things. Maybe the book is better

Great story, so many layers. I really want to know more. You could have made a full season hour omg episodes.

Informative and (at times) poignent, One Year takes a look at seveal different stories from the year 1977. It's episodic, which is a nice change from all the serialized non-fiction shows. For me this is one of the best shows of 2021. A must listen.Read full review »

When will race no longer is a determining factor in how one is look at. Well not race but the color of ones skin. This story although well told reeks of how race determines how one is viewed and how discrimination negatively effects someone’s life. As a person of color this is so tiresome.
