Susan is surprised to see Julian alive and helping the Rat King. She refuses to help them with their plan, but the rats come prepared. As Susan tells them again she won’t help, they bring Tucker out. They listen to what Julian has to say, finding it hard to believe and wondering if there is any way to escape.

Susan listened to the rat king tell her his story, but she couldn’t really believe that it was true. When the rat king leaves the room to find the infiltrator, Khai comes to talk to Susan. She can’t believe her eyes. The last time she saw him, he had given up his last life to save Cat City.

Vinnie has arrived to rescue Tucker while Susan tries to delay whatever they hope she can do for the rats. The rat king talks to Susan for a long time, and Susan hopes this gives Tucker enough time to make sure that the rats cannot use her to help them get into the City.
