I think they’ve just published their last episode, really a big shame. A very educational podcast giving interesting takes on issues. They tried their best to give impartial and opposing views (though sometimes fail due to lack of resource engaging with true experts from opposing viewpoint)....Read full review »

Good topic selection BUT…… if you wanna listen to a podcast where a complex question is asked by a host who then gives 4-5 experts less than 30 seconds a piece to answer before cutting them off with more facts that the experts themselves were trying to contextualize — this is the one for you. I...Read full review »

Interesting podcast on space exploration both of the moon and eventually Mars. If we spent these monies on saving our own planet, we might actually overcome the problems of Climate Change. I understand the ideas that we can do both, but let’s not ‘throw out the baby with the bath water.’

The BBC reporter is so clearly biased against the Swedish Democrat politician. He gave her facts of immigrant crime. She accused him of that immigrants are unjustly accused of crime. She excused their rioting as justified because Koran was defiled.

The program on Sweden was terribly one-sided in its panel and analysis. Also some forget their aid of Axis powers in WW1 & 2.
Furpep via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/22/22
Just listened to the episode about unions and the gig economy. A panel of ‘experts’ talking about something which doesn’t affect them and who actually stand to profit from these workers. It’s a shame you didn’t interview anybody actually working in the gig economy because it would be have a...Read full review »

Focused on one topic from contemporary events around the world. Straight forward information with a multifaceted view usually doesn't work well but is done wonderfully here.Read full review »

This podcast covers a breathtaking amount of topics and does an excellent job of encouraging debate on issues. Where it could improve would be in including more panelists who are activists or work for NGOs. Similarly, the range of political opinions can be constrained towards the centre. The ability to ask relevant questions from knowledgeable guests, weaving a coherent commentary while avoiding a screaming match, marks this program. I listen to French and US emissions as well, but they rarely achieve this level of mastery.

The BBC used to be the one (and almost only) intelligent broadcast where you could listen to all opinions on one debated subject : where you could learn and think. Those days are over. Virtually all of their episodes have a panel made up of big government, socialist, climate worshiping leftist professors…with one squishy person that is center right at best to answer the other side. It should be called, “He Far-Left Sanctimonious European Story” instead. Skip it.
