“Most BBC programmes are well balanced, this was not. The given statement was that plastic is disastrous for the environment. Statements like toxic & contamination were used without challenge or clarification. A short statement about benefits of plastics was made, but not as part of an integrated discussion. Incineration was brushed aside as causing toxic emissions “inadequate food segregation causing too low combustion temps” which is not a fair overview. So many half baked statements with predefined responses to fit the hypothesis. I’m sure Melvyn wouldn’t have such an imbalance. That it is an issue is undenianle. Do more research and understand the whole issue and it’s facets next time pls.”
