“I really enjoyed this podcast when it first came out but it's kind downhill since they started the patreon. The entire reason I started listening is because they explored why things were problematic. The last episode they spent the first 10-15 minutes talking about dog boarding and with dogs barking in the background for a full 2 minutes. I couldn't listen to it. I like the hosts but dog boarding and business trips aren't that interesting.Stylistically in general I also really hate podcasts where the hosts talk about themselves for 10 minutes before getting to the show. I listen to podcasts to get away from that everyday stuff.
Their takes aren't really that interesting or funny anymore. IDK I might drop back in because I really liked it at first but it kind of feels like they're going to start putting the good content behind the paywall.
Also just to reiterate, it's not cute to have your dog barking in the background. It doesn't make you authentic, it just makes it annoying.”Read full review »
