I don't listen to many podcasts but I *really* enjoy this one. There's jokes for days (mostly courtesy of Tolly) but there's also a wonderful depth and raw emotion that is touched on when discussing the various topics; for example, i think the daddy issues episode really took it to another level. I was listening to that episode driving home from another city in pitch darkness and just cried behind the wheel. I cried for the girls and the stories they shared, I cried for myself and my own experiences - but I came out of it feeling strangely... empowered. It's just so beautiful to be in this space where these women (all of whom I feel and relate so much to on different levels) confide, counsel and encourage one another - and us listeners in turn. Even though we are not physically with you, trust that we are joining in the conversation whether it's in our heads and hearts, on social media, taking the discussion to our friends and family etc.

I love sitting with you guys week to week and can’t wait to see where this goes and what life has in store for you beautiful ladies. Compliments and sentiment aside (!) there are a couple of things that could be improved. Number 1, the sound quality. Guys. Please. All 4 of you must be sharing a mic because sometimes one of you is very loud (Milena) while another person is incredibly quiet (Phoebe). It makes it really hard to follow a conversation, especially the way that I’m usually listening in the car it means I have to keep toggling the sound up and down to keep it bearable. Even if i’m listening to this while cleaning my room or something I have to wear earphones otherwise the words just get lost. Also sometimes I get mixed up with who’s talking (usually Phoebe and Ghanasfinest) and i think it’s because the sound is so low at times. Following on from that: number 2, there’s been a couple of episodes where there’s been a guest. I like the format how it is, with the 4 of you, anything more it becomes too crowded. Even tho sometimes I’d like, for example, an Arab, Asian, or muslim perspective to relate to, I shake it off cos this quartet is perfect. Someone else can make that podcast (maybe i’ll make it myself ehehe). I don’t even like it when Fader or Fazer or whoever it is Mr Producer comes around to drop his pennies but that’s cos he’s a male intruding in what I regard a sacred female only space loool. Please also never do a collab with those demons from 3 shots. Number 3 isn’t really a number 3 because it’s too early to tell but i’m not wild about the “your receipts” mini episode. I’d rather you guys just your regular episodes weekly. I’m not sure how you girls are funding yourselves though, seeing as there’s no ads, but if you needed to then please do consider a patreon or kickstarter or anything to help with costs of this production. There are those of us that love you and would support you.

That’s it. I hope you guys found this constructive feedback. Love you ALL 💖Read full review »
