It's so true!
I'm about a year and a half into the program. I luckily found this podcast and it has been one of my top tools! I went to as many meetings as I could (about 4 per week the first few months), read my daily reader every morning, called/texted my sponsor often, was working the steps, but it wasn't enough for me. =) I wanted "all Al Anon all the time" and this podcast fit the bill. I listened as I walked, cleaned the house, drove, folded laundry, when I couldn't fall asleep from the stress of my al anon-isms.
I'm so grateful to Spencer for all of his work and heart he puts into the podcast. I'm grateful too for all of his cohosts over the years - one of my favorite aspcts of Al Anon is hearing everyone's experiences. As well as having a voice, I love too how open Spencer is to listeners to contribute.
I recommend this to all my Al Anon friends.
