TRF is one of favorite AP's! I really love that they have a large catalog of a huge variety of ever growing RPG's. They feature the current hot RPG's out there, like Scum and Villainy, Dresden Files, Delta Green, Warhammer, etc. The GM's are well prepared and keep the oneshos...Read full review »

The Redacted Files is an actual play that’s a great actual demonstration of what play is like! The audience feels like a member at the table, listening to a group of enthusiastic players journey through the grim and dark, but just having a danged good ol time doing so! Like a dentistry service...Read full review »

These folks love to role play! They really get into their system and characters. The depth of understanding these folks have into the whole mythos is really impressive. You can tell the cast and GM are really taking the whole thing seriously while having a great time and a few laughs along the way.

If you a looking for a Podcast with a lot of different games going on this is one for you! The Redacted files cover the full gamut from Delta Green to Numenera, mostly running prewritten adventures. This is a useful resource if you want to know how the adventure plays, as you can get a very good...Read full review »

There are a lot of episodes but don't let that fool you. There are a bunch of different systems so it's easy to binge-listen and there's definitly something there for you. The group plays well together and it's clear the DM puts a lot of time and energy into planning these...Read full review »

This is an Actual Play show covering various games, often with a modern fantasy/cthulu mythos element to them. The mix of games is interesting and a little offbeat so it is a great way to get an idea of the stories you can tell in these settings as well as an opportunity to listen to those...Read full review »

Redacted Files has a ton of games - not just in number of episodes, but in variety of games played! Perfect for binging - you'd have to go through episodes at a truly impressive clip in order to catch up and find yourself waiting for new content. For playing so many different systems, the...Read full review »

"The Redacted files serves it's niche well in the cosmic horror genre of TTRPG podcasts. The players and GM are all detail oriented and there is a heavy focus on mechanics. The story drives along abruptly with a sense of strangeness and lack of exposition. Although *what* happens is...Read full review »

Oh man. There should be more podcasts like this. First of all phenomenal that there is so much to enjoy!! Secondly the group meshes well together and the story they tell excells at working its way in to your head. I will be returning, happily awaiting the next horrifying installment. Bravo!

First of all, the fact that this podcast has been updating regularly for so long is a testament to their hard work. Secondly, I love that they play different systems because that's what I'm looking for in my Actual Play podcasts - how to play new games. Finally, they are just GOOD at...Read full review »

I haven't caught all the way up yet, because holy cannoli is there a lot here, but I'm excited to because these folks are seriously funny. The interaction between characters and players is particularly enjoyable, and the way the characters handle being thrust into these bizarre situations seems much more real than overly-dramatic versions. The only complaint I have is the audio quality of the show. It varies considerably between...Read full review »

I've never heard something that handles the Cthulhu mythos with a light tone like this, and I think they pulled it off pretty well. Creepy, but amusing! Good sound and I like the voices involved, the party has really good chemistry, and they do a great job of keeping the combat moving, which...Read full review »

Any time a podcast wants to mess around with Cthulhu mythos or eldritch horrors and the like, you better expect things to get creepy. These folks manage that all while keeping the entertainment value up. If that’s what you want, then this show should be right up your alley.

This group has a lot of chemistry and a knack for comedic timing--they brought a lot of hilarity to the existential horror of the Cthulhu mythos in their Delta Green series! The GM developed a really interesting time-hopping, reality-bending story and the players reacted to it through skilled...Read full review »

A plentora of interesting systems and fun players running screaming past the plots and clues that the GMs have so carefully constructed - as all players are wont to do.

Aser and Megan have a beautiful thing going here where they run tabletop games for you in a mind-boggling variety of systems. I was super late to the RPG party, having played my first pen-and-paper tabletop RPG at 31 years old, and the vast number of systems available is a bit intimidating. TRF...Read full review »
