Interesting but …
To start things off, I liked Dylan’s “People That Hate Me” podcast and l GET IT. However, I don’t necessarily agree with the premise “If someone is offended, something offensive was done.” Some people can be hypersensitive, and can read their own agenda onto a blank page. Isn’t that what a Rorschach test is all about? I think he could have explored the concept of false impressions better. This is possibly a generational thing, as victimization seems to be the current fashion. As an aside, Jar Jar was my girlfriend’s absolutely favorite Star Wars character of all time, but she thought J J was female.
