Quality listening
I’ve enjoyed all the Reith lectures I’ve listened to and have never had trouble downloading the podcast. Their appearance is always a highlight of my year. Some are more thought provoking than others: Margaret Mitchell’s lectures, in particular - quite iconoclastic in ways - have given lots of food for thought.

Michael Sandel is a superb communicator. Whether or not you agree with his conclusions about the limits of the market and the best way of debating the common good, this should set you thinking. I have loved listening to the Reith lectures over the years and they have been fantastic, so I have to say that Mark Carney doesn’t even deserve the one star I gave it.
