Enriching
This podcast has provided me with model of incisive, intellectual comraderie that I never knew was missing from my own life. I once described it as the carcinogen free version of Chapo Trap House, and stand by that. How to categorize The Relentless Picnic? Comedy? It's often brutally funny, whether they're punching up to ridicule people like the banker scion who shamelessly tries to get Obama to endorse his budding Onion Crunch empire, or the more structured skits that singlehandedly redeemed improv for me. But no, it's not A Comedy Podcast. They explore current events, history, matters of philosophy, art, culture, technology. Some of the other reviews here cover the incredible breadth of topics, so I won't repeat them. But if you're like me, just trying to understand what it means to be alive in the 21st century, I guarantee this podcast will enrich your understanding of the world and the human condition.
