Love this podcast, and not just because of how fast they talk. But it is a bonus :)

I absolutely love this podcast!! It’s addictive. Richard & Marina are the two perfect hosts for this. I always say that I’m a pop culture fanatic and this gives me everything I want to know. You get all the info on everything from celebrities to tv shows, books, gossip, etc. and because they...Read full review »

There’s some interesting information and fascinating facts in there, but to hear these two privileged people (a blueblood and a fantastically wealthy author who’s work is about to be turned into a major movie) on the one hand lecture us about the evils of capitalism and conservatism, and on the...Read full review »

I was aware of Richard s wit and charm .Now discovering his female equivalent just amplifies experience 😂😂😂😂

I love, you can tell 🤣, this podcast. The chat about Royal It’s A Knockout is hilarious.

MARINA, STOP TALKING SO FAST. Changed my rating to 3 stars because of you. You sound so chaotic bloody hell, you can’t form a sentence without changing your line of thought half way though. Exhausting…. Old review here> The main reason for my five-star rating is Richard. I absolutely love his...Read full review »

The hosts are really well informed and provide fascinating insights into the world of entertainment. I love the lack of ego and warm manner of both of them. I am hooked.

I love Goalhanger podcasts - they’re so well thought out. Marina Hyde is brilliant. Richard Osman is two dimensional and lowers the tone. His insight is shallow and cynical. I hope they replace him with someone more thoughtful with interesting views. As a side, he was known to be a bully at...Read full review »

Started off fairly interesting but now every episode is just conservative bashing. Pretty boring.

Marina needs to slow down - she speaks as if she can’t wait to get to her next sentence. It’s manic!

Great podcast, Marina is so interesting to listen to

Love the pod, super interesting but I wish Richard would stop saying “By and large” ❤️

Brilliant podcast, great behind the scenes deep dives and lots of trivia. Love it. Love Richard and Marina! Go listen

I started off loving this but I’m getting fed up of Marinas constant political comments / lecturing - it’s not a politics show. Richard has great insights into TV and obviously loves the industry but sometimes he needs to be critical - or at least not overly fawning about shows. And as many...Read full review »

I don’t really watch TV and have never seen Pointless but love Marina Hyde’s columns and love the anecdotes on this show.

Richard Osman is a ratings obsessed TV insider so he's not about to bite the hand that feeds him by offering any sort of critical analysis of its output. Listening to how wonderful everything and everybody is does pall a bit after a time. His insights into the behind-the-scenes stuff is...Read full review »

This quickly became one of my favourite podcasts. I can’t hear it when I go to bed, like I do with many other podcasts, because I don’t want to risk falling asleep and missing something. Thank you for doing this.

Discovered this a few weeks ago, and quickly devoured the back catalogue! I nearly didn’t listen to it at all, the title (I get why it is what it is) and the artwork really evoke ideas of Hollywood gossip, which isn’t really my bag. I was pleasantly surprised to hear really in-depth technical...Read full review »

Came across this one by total accident but I’m obsessed. I’ve gone back to the beginning and listening from the start. Great listening but Marina needs to slow down at times. Very often she even sounds like she’s running out of breath during her one hundred miles a minute monologues. I often have to rewind and replay at slower speed to make sense of what she’s saying. Have a word with her please Richard.

Great show but sometimes it’s hard for Marina to get a word in edgeways, which is a shame because she has great insights and is funny. Richard is growing on me but still too many long monologues go on a bit and…too much Gladiators (sometimes feel like I’m stuck in my 1980s childhood).

Here a Guardian writer who was born into nobility (nepo kid) tries to sell you a credit card. You could not make it up. I could listen to Richard all day…

Love everything Richard is on and admire Marina’s writing. Her book is fabulous btw. Between them, they are encyclopaedic in their knowledge of the entertainment industry. Makes me wonder how literate are some of the people who work for the podcast. They have spelled ´intact’ as ´in tact’ in one of the episode’s description. Immediately, this makes an unpleasant impression.

The BBC cravenly advertise their own shows on their own service. People are bullied under threat of criminal penalty, to purchase a licence to fund them, if they want to watch television. Regardless of whether they ‘consume’ the BBC. That’s not the behaviour of ‘Aunty’ It’s the behaviour of an...Read full review »

Am loving this podcast as it ranges over anything and everything to do with the entertainment industry. Brilliant, informed and humorous too. I don’t normally review podcasts, because why bother? You can just push play and see what you think. But for this one, I wanted to drop a note. I absolutely love this podcast, the pairing, the topics, the banter. My only criticism is that they are both so excited that they speak really quickly and constantly stumble trying to get their words out (so many ums, ahhs and faltering) making it difficult to listen to. The more I listen, the more I enjoy this podcast. At first I thought it might just be sort of frivolous chat, but it goes deeper than that, making it very interesting to me.
