No Shame in Anthony Bourdain!
We miss the late, intelligent, talented, and raw Anthony Bourdain! He was so honest about the restaurant business and the life of a chef. Not only in his books, but also on this podcast. I felt like I was a part of the conversation between him and the Restaurant Guys! Felt like we were all at home sitting on the porch having drinks. Extra shout-out to the Restaurant Guys for actually reading his books and knowing which questions to ask like the great interviewers/hosts that they truly are. A few things did hit close to home (& not just the part about dating a vegetarian as a meat eater) and many things that were discussed are still relevant to this day. I can relate a lot because I’ve worked in the restaurant business myself for several years all throughout college. Let me tell you this, points were made! & Anthony didn’t hold back on the information either. He didn’t lie about the celebrity chefs going all Hollywood because we all have seen that. The talks about animal cruelty and actually enjoying your food is relevant also. This interview was very informative and personable. Makes us miss our fellow foodie even more. I will be listening to more episodes in the future!

Are they knowledgeable? For sure. Are they great interviewers? Generally. Are they funny? Not as...Read full review »
