“This pod is a great idea and satisfies my itch for HP content. Yet the hosts are infuriating, annoying, and inept at audio discussion. I somehow love it in a way I can’t even figure out for myself. But I’m so tired of listening to every single one of the (5? 6?) hosts give their unimaginative opinion for 5+ minutes on every little line of every chapter. The wild theories they come up with are dumb and they all think they’re so important. They are so knowledgeable about the HP world yet get so many things wrong with the silly theories they each derive. There’s a corporate middle manager that will constantly complain about how difficult her life is “as a manager” any chance she will get. A not-like-the-other-girls dorky introvert. And the bro-gym-manly-gorilla that they have for, I guess, diversity?… is the most annoying. I have to skip ahead any time he talks. But for anyone that needs EVERYTHING put into sports terms for you, he’s got your back. The women are all kind of mean to each other, but in a subtle way. And at the end there’s always 5 minutes of Netflix recommendations that they for some reason mislabel as “plugs.” I guess because they don’t have any other interesting things going on to promote. I hate it and I love it. Will keep listening for sure.”
