“This podcast hits where it should. A nice deep look at the writing of Harry Potter, mistakes and praises galore, but at the same time it’s just like listening to my own best friend go on her own tangent about the story. Complete with a raunch level that doesn’t make me too I uncomfortable. I enjoy being able to listen to dives if my favorite series but with the comfort that the people who run this podcast don’t agree with Just a Joke Rowling. As a trans man that’s important. Especially with a series that has meant so much to me and many others, even now so many years after the main books and movies ended.
I’m late to the table when it comes to The Restricted Section but I have been so happy it exists. I’m only at the beginning of book 3 right now but I can listen all I want at work so I’ll catch up in no time. But I cannot stop recommending this podcast to my other close friends who still enjoy the series. Can’t wait to finally be waiting for new episodes with everyone else.”
