Very slick and refreshingly different
This is a relatively new podcast, although its presenters are of course YouTube veterans and well known on the Amiga scene. It's a refreshing counterpoint to the longer-form panel discussion type podcasts which the likes of Retro Asylum and Retro Game Squad do so well; what you get is 20-30 minutes of punchy and well-presented news and discussion, followed by 30-40 minutes of interview with a person of note in retro gaming. They've had some great interviewees too, featuring guests as diverse as the Caulfields (of Bedrooms to Billions fame) and Richard Garriott. The presentation style is very slick and professional, especially Dan Wood who (IIRC) is a radio DJ in his day job, and it shows: there's very little umm-ing and err-ing, they don't talk too fast and they don't ramble. If I had to identify a criticism, it's that they tend to focus a bit too much on Commodore, which is understandable given who the presenters are but perhaps gets a little one note at times. Strongly recommended.Read full review »

A refreshing change from the other...Read full review »
