Not for the athlete
I am a HUGE admirer of Rich's accomplishments and his story is a fantastic source of inspiration. Moreover, Finding Ultra was a fantastic read. I was hoping this podcast would be an open dialogue about health and well being and there would be an open dialogue about how all pieces of the health puzzle fit together. Suprisingly this show is very little about health, exercise and well being and more about the meandering philsophy of life. Rich has a great voice (in the figurative sense) but unfortunately the subject material wasn't what I was expecting. Perhaps this show should be listed in a different category other than Fitness & Nutriton. For sure it is Rich's micrphone and his voice and he has a right to explore whatever he wants to explore (and he explores it brilliantly) but just know this is not a show about his ultra-athletic endeavors nor is it a show about sports nutition. Incredbily well done podcast, just wasn't what I had hoped for.Read full review »
