Great first episode
I am a big fan of Rich Roll. I read his book Finding Ultra, and thought it was great. It was a life changing book. I had always thought I wasn't training hard enough, long enough or often enough to get the results I was looking for. He said almost those exact same words in his book. But I am a marathon runner, and train 6 days a week. I now train according to the heart rate monitor (something he mentions in his book). In just 3 weeks, I am already seeing improvements. The book got me thinking more about nutrition. I just took out from the libary, the China Study (which he mentions in his book). I am in the process of giving up dairy, I am just finishing what I have (mostly whey powder), and some cheese. I can't say I am going to become a vegan, but you never know. Regarding the podcast, for my personal taste, it is a bit too New Age. But he mentions in his first episode, it is a work in progress. I look forward to hearing more episodes.Read full review »
