“Rich's book has inspired me to overhaul my eating habits and to find new join in running, swimming and biking. I cannot say enough about the inspiration this man is to me and those around me.
As for the podcast, I like the fact it rolls on without predetermined time. While at times it become time consuming to list to and goes off in many directions it also allows for topics to be explored and exhausted.
As much as his wife Julie is an important part of his life, to me, subjectively, she hijacks her husband's success to get exposure for herself. I personally do not click with her (as much as one can click with someone over a podcast) and I find her appearance in the podcasts mostly irritating. Still, to get the great stuff out of it, I listen through them all on my runs and bike rides. I know these are harsh words towards her but I am offering my subjective perception of the podcast as a listener.
I'd propose the following adjustments, if I may:
- make a script so you do not miss out any important topics you wanted to cover in the episode or with the guest you have
- let them speak more as some of them are not as well spoken as you
- get the "commercial" stuff out of the way at the beginning in a small block and do not return to it later
- above all KEEP the good stuff and inspiration coming!
