“I watched the Ricky Gervais podcast with great excitement... he is, afterall, king of the Podcast generation. But I was disappointed with the production values and the lack of effort that had gone into making a piece of work for his fans.
The idea of randomness and laughter is obviously a strong start - but with only one outing of this irregular output, it was a little hard to see how it was any more than a couple of blokes with a camera, having a laugh. Maybe its not Gervais' and Pilkington's fault - they genuinely seem to be enjoying themselves -maybe it is our own fault that we have adopted such "normalcy" as our heroes of comedy.
