“Firstly, I'll admit that watching this without thinking it doesn't completely stand up well next to the audio podcasts is a hard thing to do. It IS a short preview, and perhaps not the best promotion of the idea as it does feel a little scripted. Karl's reactions, while funny anyway, do seem a little rehearsed to me, in a manner that sort of breaks the illusion. With a better setting, some more Steve Merchant and more of a format this could probably work, but as it stands the preview does leave things a little wanting.”Read full review »
