“An Englishwoman, an Australian and an American all walk into a podcast booth—- and discuss all things RoP with extensive knowledge and deep affection for the works of the great J.R.R. Tolkien. I went into the TV series thinking ‘let’s see if it’s really as bad as Reddit said it was’ and much to my dismay I found out I’d been wholly missing out, I have loved the show as much as I loved the books and LoTR movie trilogy— and the hosts of this podcast fill in all the blanks from the works I haven’t consumed.
With season 2 over, and after binging season one, the ADHD infested neurons in my brain have been looking to quench their appetite by consuming as much information they can of the show, especially what lore experts think… This is the pod for me, thank you for sharing your knowledge of the lore and for giving frank and honest opinions, you are after all, an opinion podcast. While I don’t agree with everything they dislike about the show, I understand why they feel that way because they explain it well.
If we all agreed on everything, there wouldn’t be anything to make a podcast about 🤣”
