Tolkien “fans” who love modern interpretations
One moment they love Tolkien, the next they are fawning over the feminization of Middle-earth and how Tolkien would’ve done the same thing (only he didn’t?). Tolkien loved women, God loves women, we all love women - but pretending these stories are about women and that every kingdom should be led by a woman, is just stupid. And it would be stupid if the reverse was true and Tolkien had written a book about all the amazing women fighting the forces of darkness. These guys are Tolkien “fans” when it is culturally acceptable.

It’s a treat and a relief to have found a podcast with hosts who both love and are savvy with the lore and don’t spend the whole time complaining about the show. Thoroughly enjoy the discussion. This is the first place I come after watching a new episode. Thanks y’all!!
