Good For Those That Only Like the Text
After listening to a few of the episodes including 10, these guys have a lot of knowledge and are clearly respected which is good, but be aware that they tend to take a jab at most elements that don’t line up with the text (even if there isn’t any relevant Second Age text). I feel that they look down their nose at adaptations, even elements of the ComicCon trailer, so for that reason I’ve become weary listening to the constant undercurrent of skepticism. If you only like the text, that’s fine, but I suggest that you just study the text and ignore the adaptations, and let others enjoy the adaptive trip back to Middle Earth.

I really enjoyed The Rings of Power and this podcast really increased my appreciation of the show. I’ve just started listening to The Prancing Pony podcast to extend my obsession with all things Tolkien!

I appreciate your cautiously optimistic view, it’s exactly how I want to learn about the series without this blind hate that we find on so many other channels. Good job on the 2 episodes you have released so far and I am excited for many more! Thank you so much!
