“I think it is a great idea to look at specific topics in the popular news and examine how elements of the history on that topic have informed the current conversation. And, it is well-executed with some really exceptional guests. I love politics and history, but I am really tired of the biased, sensationalized, version of political discussion that has taken over seemingly all communicatioin channels. When I listen to these podcasts, I feel like I'm sitting in a comfy living room informally chit chatting along with the hosts and their guests, but I learn an incredible amount of new information that has informed conversations with friends and colleagues as well as in courses I teach.
