Bridging the gap between belief and doubt
I have been a big fan of Rob Bell's for a long time. He has good insights into the Bible, and was instrumental in helping me see the bible as a progressive cultural library rather than a static book of regressive rules. Two things I've noticed in Rob's work is that he sometimes takes minority positions on debates regarding ancient history and his openess to other's opinions can err on the side of "anything is Ok as long as it sounds good". With that in mind, most of his work is well researched and the 5 part series on forgiveness is outstanding.Read full review »
