“Black lives matter, white lives matter, hispanic lives matter, chinese, japanese, german, austrian, etc and so-on; all lives matter to Jesus, so all lives should matter to us. I know that Jesus didn't suffer and die so that we could argue over who should have more rights or whose color skin is better. It's just another wave of propaganda to stir up civil disruption. I do not support Rob Bell. He is someone any Christian and Bible believer should stay away from. There are many reasons why, but one in particular where he suggested straying away from and ignoring the bible to keep today's church relevant (February 2015). Jesus in the garden prayed for us to be deeply rooted in His word. The Holy Scripture (the Bible) is the only authoritative source of all that was, is, and shall be. A man who urges brethren to move away from what is our source to God (the Word, Jesus) is to be rejected regardless of how good his stuff sounds or how good his intentions appear in support of others and so-called "causes". In his article, he mentions that is is not beneficial in today's society to be getting our morals from a text that is 2000 years + old. By saying this, he is saying that scripture in part (which ultimately in God's eyes means as a whole) is irrelevant, non-beneficial, and oppressive. The bible says to lean on God's word and His understanding. Not our own meek wisdom, knowledge, and opinions. Rob Bell, repent and follow Christ Jesus and His Word, only, I pray.”Read full review »
