Great Energy!!
First off, I loved the chemistry the group has. The podcast seems to be recorded at an actual table where the game is played and it really brings out the personalities of the players and the relationship they have outside of the game. Great energy and it really pulls you in and makes you feel invested as if you are watching them play within a game shop. The DM seems passionate; like his sole purpose is to make sure his players are having fun. You can tell by the way he runs combat, and doesn’t get too stuck on details. The NPC Wyatt, and the characters’ interactions with him are well done, another factor that made me feel pulled into the game. One thing that was really awesome was the frigging intro. It’s a narration done from the perspective of a character and it really pulls you in, almost like how it is done in movies and such. The only thing I would say could be done to really take the introduction to the next level is by maybe have over the music a narrator explain what game is playing, who the characters are, and who are playing the characters. I think it would even make the introduction even more awesome. Even the channel description could have something similar too. Overall an awesome experience and I highly suggest everyone check it out!

There's a lot of cross-talk aand overlapping conversations, to the point that it's hard to keep track of who's talking and what they're talking about, and the group's occasional use of props at the table doesn't gel all that well with an auditory medium. On the other hand,...Read full review »

The Room Where it Happened has one of the strongest group chemistries I’ve seen in a podcast yet. It’s a shame that constant voice overlap makes it difficult to listen, at times. Overall the story is a modern take on fantasy tropes; Cars instead of Horses, for example. A refreshing new takes,...Read full review »
