From melodrama to farce
If anything strikes me about The Room Where It Happened, it is the contrast between moments of dead silence and thick weaving tensions and uproarious laughter. TRWIH has a tight knit cast, friend clearly very comfortable with each other, and who are willing to push each other. Not only do we get the treat of the players holding razor sharp standoffs, tension drawn out to wire, but we get to share the moments after, when they break, and the cast congratulate each other and marvel at the story they've woven together.
