“I guess some people had a crush on Linnea Hubbard, because now that she's left the show they all of a sudden hate it, when they loved it before. I liked her as a host, too, and I hate listening to terrible voices as much as anyone, but a) recent guest hosts have been fine! and b) the information is just as excellent as ever it was.
My 6-year-old doesn't like change, either. But as an adult I've learned that change happens. If they had started using a 1980s computer voice I wouldn't listen. But they didn't. I listen to the podcast because I find the information to be reliable and concisely conveyed, with just enough snark to add some spice.
