Today's show is all a conversation I had with fellow adventurer Jason Nellis.  Jason hiked the Camino de Santiago back in 2016 and shares his insight and experiences from his trip.  We also get into a bit of family life discussion as I'm always curious about that adventure so many others have taken.  Thanks for listening. Today I wrap up this legendary story of the first Solo Circumnavigation of the Southern Ocean by Vito Dumas.  In this show we start out in New Zealand, sail across the empty Pacific and finally make it to Cape Horn.  Just a great story and one heck of an adventure.  Thanks for listening! Today I start something that I have been putting off for way to long, my report on the voyage of Vito Dumas aboard Lehg 2.  Back in 1942, Vito set sail from Argentina to circle the globe on what was dubbed the Impossible Route. This book is amazing and brings me right back to my trip in those terrible waters of the Southern Ocean.  This will be a two part Podcast.  Enjoy and thanks for listning. Today I sit down with Tiffany aboard her Westsail 32.  She has owned the boat for 2 years and had a lifetime of experiences so far. Right now, Tiffany is taking on the challenge of a complete rebuild after finding that her boat needs some serious TLC. Her enthusiasm and never quit attitude is inspiring and I can wait to see how the project goes into the future.  Thanks for sharing your time with the show! Today I sit down with my new friend, John.  We met at my presentation and quickly found out that he was preparing his Pacific Seacraft for a Caribbean trip this winter, and he was only two slips away from the boat I was living on.  Crazy ow small the yachting community really is!  He started out as fisherman on the Pacific Coast and now has switch power for sail. Thanks for sharing your time and stories, good luck this winter, fair winds and following seas! Support the Podcast on Patreon:...

This conversation took place a week or so ago while I was still on the road doing speaking events.  While in Newport RI, Sven hooked me up with Eric and I headed down to the North Sails Loft to get some insight into the world of "big" boat sailing and sails.  Huge thanks to both Eric and Sven for making this happen.   Support the show with Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sailingintooblivionpodcast One Time Donations via PayPal and Venmo: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/JeromeRand...
