Give it a listen. Now.
Satyr's lead a very interesting life thus far, and continues to be active in multiple areas: hockey, theatre, gaming, etc. Sort of the type of guy that I loved hanging out with when I was in high school, and found the drama club/class, and found "my" people. This is essentially what happens when the heart of a theatre geek is nurtured and flourishes. Very cool guy, and a very cool podcast. Best of all, Satyr's got a lovely speaking voice, and it's fairly easy to listen to him tell you about his life while you're doing something else (walking, working out at the gym, cleaning, riding the subway). Only down side I would say is that the bumpers/song segments run a twitch long, and I tend to lean a bit heavily on my fast forward buttons, because I want to hear more of Satyr and less of the pre-recorded stuff. But seeing as how that's just a personal taste thing, it may or may not be an issue for you. Give episode 002 a listen first; by that point, he's gotten his groove going, and you get a glimpse of the Scott behind the Satyr (I'm talking Impaler segment, of course). Nice glimpse, I'd say.Read full review »

As a theatre veteran and an unabashed flame dame, I love these two to tiny little bits! My favorite segment has to be the Mystery Musical (musical, musical), but the whole show is full of cleverness and laughs. I'm often reminded why I love the company of theatre people. Encore!Read full review »

He even uses the little sound that you hear on planes right before announcements are made. I am someone who...Read full review »

Have I mentioned recently how fabulous this podcast is? Scott is hilarious, his copilot and Flame Dame is the perfect snarky foil, and every ep is a heaping helping of theater, movie, and TV dish, plus whatever filthy fun Scott's been indulging in that week. Subscribe now!Read full review »
