Fantastic Gaming Podcast.
There are several things I like about this series, that puts it above many of the other gaming podcasts I have listened too: 1) High quality production. Everyone is easy to hear and there is the right mix of music to enhance, but not detract from the content. 2) Content. If you listen to a lot of board game media, there is a forumla. These guys don't mess with that formula too much, but they do it so well, it doesn't feel worn out. I think this is directly related to: 3) Relationship dynamics: Four podcasters in a room is a recipe for disaster. So many potnetial pitfalls (mic hogging, talking over one another, in jokes) and these guys avoid them all, despite each having their own unique voice. You believe these guys must have grown up on a block together. Despite their cohesion, they each bring a unique voice and personality to the gaming discussion. 4) Accessible: I value accessibility. I want non-gamers to start gaming. I want gamers to game more. These guys talk about areas of gaming I haven't hardly explored (RPG's in particular) and I never feel out of the loop. They talk about things in depth without drowning the topic. I hope these guys have a long podcasting career, and I hope I get the chance to meet up with them at a gaming convention real soon. Until then, I'll be following along, and I hope you do too.Read full review »

I am so glad that I found this podcast. Listened to this in my car with my wife one day and the topic was about acquisition disorder. I was finally about to explain to her why I buy games so impulsively. There is no cure except when you run out of money ! 8-)

Great podcast with tons of information about boardgames and RPGs. They sound like a great group of people to play games with. They're only about 2 hours away from me, so hey, who knows? ;-)Read full review »
