Disingenuous and Smug
There is a difference between feeling true guilt and the insincere guilt that the hosts emit, taking some sort of smug pleasure in being able to not appreciate Canadian landmarks. There is an art in being able to tell a story without telling the audience how they ought feel about the story.

This podcast sheds light on parts of Canada’s unknown past, some we’d rather keep hidden and some surprising and fascinating. The hosts keep things light and entertaining, and thank goodness we’re not listening to more overly ernest dry Canadian history. Can’t wait to hear more.
