“Overall, I'm pleased with this series. I like the characters, and the action kept me going. Once I discovered this podcast, I downloaded all the episodes and listened to them (at the expense of keeping up with other podcasts) until I was completely caught up. I even found myself going to bed and plugging in my earbuds for 10-15 minutes (so as to not wake the sleeping wife) before I fell asleep. I have two complaints, and they are somewhat minor. First, the narrator's pronunciation of some Russian words drives me a little crazy (sorry, I took a year of Russian in college). Second, there have been a couple of instances where some editing would have been helpful. The story was progressing, and the narrator made a mistake, then went back a paragraph or two and repeated that small portion of the story. The first time I heard it, I thought it was a glitch in the recording, but I've heard it more than once. I can't wait for the next installment.”Read full review »
