“I'm a big fan of Mercedes Lackey. So this review is obviously biased. But you have got to give it up to her. She is incredibly prolific. I'm not sure how many books she has written or co-written, but she has got to be well into the triple digits by now. This is an interesting story so far. Aliens and Super-heros, what's not to like? The authors, and the narrators change from one act to the next, but this adds to the sense of anarchy that is now occurring in the story. Each act has a different main character and is in itself a stand alone narrative.
My favorite so far has to be "Fear and Loathing in Lost Wages". I'm a graduate of Bonanza High School. So it was really cool to hear it mentioned. I'm not sure if the other cities are as well represented as Vegas was, but the author hit the nail on the head as far as my "Hometown" is concerned. "GO BANGLES!"”Read full review »
