“And also possibly the worst PODCAST, period. OK, as of now there are at least 2 podcasts that discuss each episode of Serial that I’m aware of, and there are probably more. This is the worst one, by far. The discussion is so weak and completely based on hunches, feelings, or their “dislike” of Adnan after hearing him talk. Nothing comes from facts or real evidence - in fact when someone offers up information that would potentially disprove Jay’s version of events (which serve as the primary evidence against Adnan) they just ignore and dismiss it, even though they readily admit they don’t believe Jay or his version of events - YET, for some bizarre reason, they believe his claim that Adnan did it (backed by the weakest motive EVER). So they talk ad nauseum about how they don’t believe Jay and think he was probably involved, yet they DO believe Jay’s claim that Adnan did it, and mind you this isn’t substantiated by anything other than their subjective hunches. It’s just how they feel, man! Coming from the Onion I honestly thought this was satire at first, but apparently not. I also can't help but think they are biased in some way after hearing that they don’t “like” Adnan the more they hear him talk. How interesting. Then in episode #2 one guy who was on a jury recently actually states how that experience made him lose faith in our justice system, but yet he’s not nearly as skeptical in this case. This is the same guy who when they bluntly ask “what matters in this case” he says “motive”. Are you f’ing kidding me? This is the weakest motive EVER! YUCK. Avoid this podcast like the plague. If you want some more informative discussion that is based in reality and not the “feeling zone", the one from Slate is a lot more factual and objective.”Read full review »

“I just finished listening to Serial and thought this would be interesting. I am in the middle with regards to the case discussed, I have no strong opinion BUT the bias here was staggering.
There was no/poor referencing and I noticed many mistakes in the narrative. The only good episodes was the...”Read full review »
“Not only is this podcast not very well organized, but in just two brief episodes, the host speakers cover the first nine episodes. Wouldn’t it have made more sense to break it down a bit more, if not on an episode-by-episode basis? Perhaps iTunes is only showing the most recent episodes. At any...”Read full review »
